Softening the look of this 1990s vintage Cape-style home meant adding curvature to its lines, inside and out. Taking inspiration from the antique homes of nearby Chatham, AD designed new, original hand-turned wood trims and moldings: architectural detail that adds both warmth and solidity to look of the house. The new multileveled deck, with its curving stairway, moves graciously downward to the pool, inviting its occupants to merge with the natural setting that makes the house so special. |
