Dear Peter,
This note is long overdue but still relevant nonetheless. Gary and I love our house. We want you to know how thrilled we are with the design and the results.
We set out some very important criteria at the beginning of the process and you came through with flying colors. The first and maybe the most important (and one that everyone comments on) is that the house is so well situated into the landscape. It's open and simple and the transition from outside to inside is seamless. That was our quest.
Our years of living next door helped us have a sense of what works and what doesn't. I'd imagine our continuous insistence about some of those specifics made you crazy, but your patience and solutions oriented approach incorporated all that we threw at you. And you did it with a smile.
We did a lot and we did it in a short time. As with any home it will be our never ending project but the ninety five percent that's done is in no small part thanks to you. When we arrive next June the craziness of last year will be behind us and we will really be able to relax and enjoy our special getaway.
